China-based DeepSeek AI predicts strong price rallies for a number of high-profile altcoins before the end of 2025, driven by Bitcoin’s recent historic price surge.

Bitcoin recently made waves by hitting a new record high of $122,838 a fortnight ago. Many analysts believe this milestone could indicate the beginning of widespread mainstream adoption, provided current bullish trends remain intact.

The breakout has injected renewed optimism throughout the crypto space, leading to predictions that the next major bull market could surpass the highs of 2021—and propel altcoins into uncharted price levels.

Below are the top digital assets DeepSeek AI predicts may deliver impressive returns by the 2025 holiday season.

XRP (Ripple): DeepSeek AI Predicts 60% Surge Before Year’s End

According to DeepSeek’s forecast, Ripple’s pioneering XRP (XRP) coin could reach $5 by late 2025—a roughly 60% increase from its current value of around $3.15.

This bullish projection follows XRP’s recent market momentum. On July 18, XRP hit an all-time high of $3.65, finally overtaking its previous 2018 record of $3.40. The token has gained 43.5% in the past month, outpacing both Bitcoin and many of its altcoin rivals.

Investor optimism has been fueled by a mix of regulatory clarity, practical use cases, and speculation about an upcoming XRP-backed spot ETF—factors that could channel increased capital into the asset.

Ripple designed XRP for fast, low-cost global transactions without the need for intermediaries. Its real-world adoption was further bolstered in 2024 when the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) acknowledged XRP as a reliable solution for international money transfers.

A landmark moment occurred in 2023, when a U.S. federal court ruled that Ripple’s sales of XRP to retail buyers did not violate securities laws. The SEC formally closed its investigation by March 2025, resolving one of XRP’s largest legal overhangs.

With the token still trading 13.7% below its peak, reclaiming that level could act as a springboard toward DeepSeek’s $3–$5 target range, with potential to surpass even those estimates under favorable conditions.

Its Relative Strength Index (RSI) has decreased from 86 last Monday to 59 today, suggesting a period of cooling that could prime XRP for a new leg up.

Over the past 12 months, XRP has appreciated by 433%, far outstripping Bitcoin’s 75% rise during the same period.
